Busy weekend!

This weekend was a busy one. Saturday morning the boys had a soccer game. They have won their first 2 games already. The first game was 13-1 and this past Saturday was 11-2. Eric did a most awaesome head butt during the game. When he did this it was passed directly to a team mate. Robert and I both see him advancing his skills each and every season. Gregory has improved a ton since last summer season. They are growing rather quickly. In the afternoon I did a photo shoot for a friend with my company equipment. While I was doing photos Robert was finishing up the hot water heater installation. Yeah, it is hooked up and WORKING! I love my husband! He spent many hours trying to get it working and all. Of course Sunday was church and in the afternoon I did a photo shoot with my brother and sister in law. It was so much fun.
Sunday morning before we left for church we took a few pics for fun! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well. Take care all!

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend. Saturday while we were at Walmart shopping there was a cake walk with the Easter bunny. The kids had a wonderful time and got more candy. They didn't win a cake but enjoyed it anyway. That same evening we went to Uncle Tim and Aunt Jessi's house and colored eggs. Sunday morning our church had a brunch and the main service afterwards. Then we had a big meal at Uncle Tim and Aunt Jessi's. It was a wonderful weekend. In fact, we even had a nap Sunday afternoon. The week will be a busy one once again. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well.

Another week is gone!

Well, we have been without a hot water heater since last Sunday night. Needless to say we have been heating water on our stove top to have a hot bath. It has been rather interesting. I can't complian though. The hot water heater has a recall part. We finally got it today and one of the screws is supposed to be a left thread and it came with a right thread! UGH!!! It isn't one you can just take off either. It is one that comes with it on already and there is no way to change it without breaking. Rather frustrating but there are worse things that could happen for sure. My sweet hubby has been faithfully working on it and trying to get it working for me. I love him!
I am glad that it is the weekend. Tomorrow the boys havea their first soccer game. They are excited. Indoor soccer is rather different for them. They are in gyms. When they barely kick the ball it goes rolling away rather quickly. Eric especially is having trouble with ball control in a gym. I think it might help them for the summer outdoor season though.
The kids received a Easter package from their Grandma Wallace. Boy, did they get too much candy. It was 12 pounds of it. Thanks, grandma! When you come in June you can take them to the dentist for me! ha ha
Work is going well and keeping me busy. I don't have to work til Wednesday again. I am thankfull for that.

A Change is Being Made

I have had several people visiting my blog and I have no idea who it is. I really don't want to share my life with strangers. My poor husband is home with Strep throat. Yuck! I pray it won't spread anymore.

Where Did Spring Break Go???

It is hard to believe the kids are back in school today. Our spring break went way too fast. Thankfully I am off today and tomorrow. Audrey is healthy and well now. The only problem is Robert is not feeling well. He was going to get checked out at work today. Hopefully NOT strep throat!!!
Tomorrow night starts soccer. YEAH! The boys are itching to start the season.
Only about 8 weeks of school are left. Gregory is excited about his graduation in May. My kids are growing up way too fast. Just thought I would post before the week starts getting too busy. Have a wonderful week!

On the mend!

Thankfully Audrey is improving since starting the antibiotic. She sounds so much better. Our spring break is just flying by so quickly. Monday the kids start back to school. They only have about 8 weeks of school left. Where has the year gone?
Tuesday night is the boys first night of indoor soccer. They are thrilled.
Fortunately I don't have to start back at work until Wednesday. It gives me a few days to re coop from the kids before returning! ha ha. Actually we have gotten lots done. We tackled the play room and it looks amazing now. Since everything is organized we took time to play some board games. Time with my children is very precious to me. They enjoy it just as equally. Not much is planned this weekend. It is just nice to be together as a family. I have been thanking the Lord for all the sunshine we have received lately. I guess you learn to appreciate little things like sunshine when you don't have much of it for quite sometime. I am so ready for it to be nice weather. I know better than to get too excited, after all it is only March. Last year we had the last snowfall in April. Yesterday the kids were able to spend quite a bit of time playing outside. You don't know how wonderful that is. Anyway, I am just rambling so I had better go for now.

WHAT?!?

That was my first thought when the doctor told me Audrey has Strep throat! She hasn't acted the least bit like shes had strep. She doesn't complain or act too bad. She has just seemed to have croup and a really bad cold. Well, I am just glad I took her to the doctor after all. I normally try not to just go to the Dr. because I usually hear, "Oh, it is just a really bad cold. It just needs to take its course." OR "It's just a virus, nothing we can do." The one time I don't take her in she has STREP! Praise the Lord for it being spring break. Now I am praying that it will not spread to any others. We have to get back into the normal routine on Monday. I guess the rest of the weeks events are just relaxing and keeping everyone healthy. I pray you are all staying healthy as well.

Going to the doctor

Well, Audrey is not getting much better so we are going to the doctor tomorrow afternoon. She is not seeming to be too sick. She has her moments where she just wants to lay down so she does and takes a nap. She seems fine other than a scratching voice, runny nose, and terrible coughing. (I guess not too fine! LOL) She has been like this for almost a week and it doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. Thus we are going to the doctor to make sure there is not an infection.
The kids are enjoying their spring break. Tonight we went bowling since it was dollar days. It is pretty bad when your five year old beats you in bowling. They throw the bowling ball so strangely and end up with a strike. My ball goes down the lane fairly straight and I get 6 pins! What is up with that? haha
I will post pics from bowling soon. Anyway, I hope we can get Audrey on the mend soon!

Is it ever going to go away?

I am beginning to wonder if Audrey's cold will ever go away. She has been acting more than normal just sounded awful. Last night and all day today we were attending the basketball tournament for the kids school. It was so much and quite the blast. We made it all the way to the championship game. Unfortunately we came in second place. The team played hard though. During the last game Audrey was just laying her head down on the bleachers. She started to act like she wasn't feeling well. Once she was in bed the coughing began again and she still sounds horrible. Needless to say, I am staying home with her in the morning and making sure she just rests. Maybe we let her do too much too soon. She was just begging to get out of the house. I am praying that it doesn't spread to the other 2 or Robert and I.
We woke up to about an inch of snow today. We had gotten rid of most of the snow until now. I can't complain though. The weather has been in the 40's. I am enjoying the 12 hours of daylight now. It is staying lighter longer now. I love the long hours of daylight. Hope you all are having beautiful weather this weekend. Take care my friends.

A sick little girl!

Well, unfortunately I had to call off work today since my little girl is sick! She was coughing and it sounded like a barking seal! She was struggling to breathe last night. She has been sleeping with the humidifier and it seems to be breaking up now but she feels so miserable. I wish there was more I could do for her though. We have snuggled up and watched Wonder Pets and Dora together. I was hoping we could hold the sickness off for one more day. Our spring break starts tomorrow and they are off all week next week as well. I am able to be off with them during their spring break. That is what I love about my job. Oh well, what can you do?
This week has been spirit week at school for the kids. Monday was western day. Fortunately daddy remembered to take pics of the kids b/f leaving for school. Tuesday was silly hat and sock day, Wednesday was sports day. Daddy forgot to get pics those days. Audrey looked so adorable dressed in a cheerleading outfit. In fact the high school teacher had her come up front in chapel to show off how cute she looked. She just stood there and smiled I am told. :0) The photographer mommy was disappointed Daddy forgot the pics. But I truly appreciate daddy's help in the mornings and getting the kids ready and off to school. We have had so much fun dressing up for spirit week. Tonight starts a basketball tournament for our school's high school team. The boys are thrilled about it. Daddy is going to take the boys since Audrey is sick. We were all going to go but plans have changed. It is a 3 day tournament. I hope Audrey is well enough tomorrow night so we can all go together. The boys are anxious to play on a basketball team now. They have to wait til at least 3rd grade I think. They start indoor soccer is a couple weeks. Eric has been very patient for soccer to start until now. He is just itching for the season to start. It will keep us really busy once it starts.
