The big dentist visit

A week or so ago we scheduled a dentist appt for Gregory since he has been complaining about a bad tooth. We had to schedule an appt for May and then be put on a preference list in case of any cancellations. Today we received a call from the dentist office notifying us that Gregory would be able to get in within 25 minutes. We rushed in and he got his teeth cleaned. Unfortunately we did not like the results. There is some work that he will need done. He was a real trooper and let them take all his x-rays, scrape and pick at his teeth, clean his teeth, and do the fluoride treatment. While the hygienist was scraping his teeth he asked her, "When are you going to be done?" She laughed and said "As soon as you have no more sugar bugs on your teeth." Later in the day Gregory was telling Eric all about his visit with the dentist(since he was at school)and told him the they had to get all the "sugar butts" off of his teeth. I reminded him that is was sugar BUGS! :)
We then went and bought him some Act mouthwash and flossing buddies. That was the highlight of his day. Right before bedtime he was bugging us to help him brush his teeth and use his mouthwash. He was so proud of his day at the dentist! We were just as proud of him so for doing so well. In fact, the hygienist told him he could come back anytime to get his teeth cleaned because he sat so still.
